We were playing a much heated "ryder cup" event. We were down a hole and needed to win this hole. I stepped up to the tee placed trusted Titleist ball on the tee. With my 6 iron in hand, I hit a knock down shot from 162 yards. The fringe was a bit raised and I could not see the bottom of the flag plus on this course the flags were shorter than normal, I think because of the windy-ness of the area. Anyway it hit the fringe and circle and fell in the cup. A guy I was playing with had a height advantage and said "Doc" I think that went in. Hole #11 Windy Knoll, September 16th-2017.
