It was during a 3 man scramble and they had a closest to the hole on number 11. That same day someone else made a hole in one and my group and I were talking about how the only way to beat it is to also make a hole in one. It was 108 yards, wind in the face and that hole usually plays longer anyway and had a hill behind the hole. I took a smooth pitching wedge and it landed about 10 feet past the hole and rolled back off the hole into the hole. I was speechless and didn’t know what to do except throw my hands in the air. It was great feeling. I said I don’t care how I play the rest of the day, that I was satisfied for the day.
