A marshall working at Whirlpool Golf Course is credited for this hole-in-one. His name was Barry and his positive attitude gave me the confidence I needed to achieve this hole-in-one. Barry was doing his final rounds for the day as he approached our tee box. He sat quietly before I swung and as soon as I hit, he said "Oh I like that one". The ball then proceeded to take a couple of bounces and trickle into the hole. This was on hole 14 at Whirlpool, 154 yards, I used an 8 iron. Barry saw it go in the hole before anyone so he was quite excited, as he said he had never seen one before. What a great experience I can't wait to keep chasing.
