  1. Here is a great hole-in-one story:

A group of guys and myself were playing in a one man scramble tournament last summer (2023). With the rules of the one man scramble, if you hit a second shot, you must play it no matter what. Even if it is worse than your first shot. So, we get to a short par 3. A little over 100 yards to the pin. A guy in the group steps up and hits a great shot close to the hole for a great birdie attempt. After the shot he says, "I know this might be a really bad idea, but I want to hit another one." We all looked at him funny and questioned why because of how good his first shot was. But, he still insisted on hitting another. So, sure enough, he steps up and hits another great shot. This time the ball takes a small bounce, checks, and rolls into the hole for a hole-in-one. He ended up winning the skin on that hole for the tournament. The definition of, when you know, you know!
