Monthly Stroke Medal Round, playing off the Blue Tees. I'm around the mark score wise as we approach the 8th Hole. Today, it's playing 155yards / 142metres, slightly into the wind. Smooth swing, Good contact, Slight draw. Ball is on it's way. Ball landed, 2 bounces and apparently in. The 4 young fellas on the 9th tee-box next to us, were super excited, screaming "It's in!!" as they ran up to the green to check that statement. Unfortunately, the high lip on the front bunker to the green, meant that we couldn't actually see the result as it happened. It was the only highlight of an otherwise very forgettable round...but hey, that's Golf! ;-)
