My first Ace came on 31 Oct 1994. I was working for the American Red Cross at Kadena Airforce Base in Okinawa and Ace the 9th hole at Awase Meadows Golf Club. Hole 187 Yards hit a 6 Iron. Ball Titleist Tour Distance-90
Second Ace, 30 Dec 98 and was working in the Pro Shop SWGC Fort Rucker. Ace the 8th hole on the Blue Course. Hole 183 Yards hit a 5 Iron. Ball Titleist HP2 Tour
This is where the fun starts. The next day 31 Dec 1998 I e-mail my brother Armand who was living in Arizona that I just got my second Ace and wish him a Happy New Year. The next day 1 Jan 1999 while playing golf I got my third Ace. Hole 2 SWGC White Course. Hole 148 yards hit a 7 Iron. Ball Titleist HP2 100. When I return home I had an e-mail from Armand advising "The only thing better than your Hole-in-One to end the year is to get a hole-in-one to start the new year like I did". I pick up the phone and call him and let him know I also had an Ace that morning. We had a good laugh. The Dothan Eagle sports page did a story about that.
25 years later, yesterday 11 July 2025 on White 2 again, this time 10 yards shorter, 138 yards I hit a 5 Hybrid for my fourth Ace. Ball Titleist Tour Speed.
On 23 Aug 2017 I scored a 73 and it was the first time I shot my age or better. I was 73. Ball ProV1X. To date I have scored my age or better 98 times (I'm now 80 will be 81, 23 July 2025) and would bet it was done with a Titleist Golf Ball every time. I have every score card.
