I got my first Hole In One during our Saturday Club comp, at the 16th at my home course, Barlaston Golf Club (Staffordshire). Pin was 164yd’s, playing slightly uphill and in to a gentle breeze. I hit an 8 iron that never left the flag, one hop, a bit of release and it disappeared (luckily a back pin as the bottom of the front pins are not visible). Managed to bag 4 points for a friendly doubles game which was enough to take the win also. A rare highlight in an otherwise lacklustre round.
