Hello, I hit my first Hole in One on Saturday July 19 at Sandpiper Golf Course in Santa Barbara in the Griffith Park Golf Club away tournament. It was a beautiful day, cloud cover in morning, clearing to sunny skies in the afternoon. I was playing my usual high game and wanted to stay under 120. As we approached the 18th Copper tee with my friend Cheryl Fitch, I said "What a beautiful hole, wouldn't it be fun to hit a hole in one here?" We laughed. Actually I just wanted to get it over the water. I used Titleist Velocity I recently received as a birthday gift, and teed up on short tee. I hit my Honma 8 iron, went straight and over the water. I could hear other people saying nice shot, then it rolled up the green and saw it drop into the hole! Everyone cheered from the patio overlooking the 18th green, people practicing on the putting green, along with the other players in my group and the 4some behind us waiting to go! Felt like a LPGA event with gallery! Love playing with Velocity, I always ask for them when anyone asks me what ball I play with. Thanks, Lee Yamashiro
