For over two decades, our group has enjoyed annual golf trips to Grand Falls Golf Club in New Brunswick—a course I highly recommend experiencing. Our tradition began in 1996, paused in 2006, and resumed in 2022. In the first year of our return, I faced the water-protected 16th hole as the last player in our foursome to hit. My shot tracked perfectly toward the elevated green, landing on target but disappearing near the pin. While I assumed my ball had rolled into the rough beyond the hole, then one of my buddies goes, "I think it went in," and I was like, "WHAT?" He repeated, "I think it went in." I instantly got goosebumps (just like I'm getting now telling this story). We jumped into the closest cart - wasn't even mine - and floored it up to the green. He jumped out first, I was right behind him, and he yelled "IT'S IN!" I ran over and saw my Custom Titleist 74 (Pro V1) sitting in the cup facing up at me - it was one of the most incredible feelings ever. I've been playing golf since I was 12 and got my first hole in one at 48. I'll never forget a single detail of that moment.
