On December 5, 2025, in slightly chilly weather, we began our round of golf at 7:10 a.m. for the first tee time of the day. Although we had no time to warm up, we felt in excellent condition and sensed that it would be a good round.
At the 5th hole, a par-3 measuring 135 yards, I struck an 8-iron with great confidence, and the ball flew beautifully toward the green, landing very close to the hole. A person who was repairing the bunker right next to the green saw the ball drop into the cup and shouted that it was a hole-in-one.
I had experienced a hole-in-one many years ago in Chicago, but this one was truly one of the most unforgettable and joyful moments of my life.
