I was playing in our league at Chi Chi Rodriguez GC, Largo Florida on Friday, December 19, 2025, when on the par 3, 153 yard, par 3, I played a Titleist Tour Soft ball and hit a 5 iron. It was a good, solid shot that went straight towards the pin on the raised green. We couldn’t quite see the hole, but one of the players said they thought it went in. Well, I drove behind the green and walked up the incline and ‘no ball’. I was amazed, but thought ‘what the hell’ and headed to the hole. There it was nestled at the bottom of the hole beside the pin. AMAZING. The players Dean and Karen, who witnessed my shot took pictures and received the honoured tradition later at the bar, with other members in our league. BONUS AMAZING Fortunate for me, this was my 4th hole-in-one.
