  1. While playing in the opening round of the Average Joe Tour - Suncoast South division at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Florida I hit my first hole in one! The front 9 closest to the pin hole was #8 at 178 yards from the white tee. I used my Titleist T100S 6-iron to very narrowly miss the sandhill crane on the tee box directly in front of me and land the ball on the green. It took one hop and then disappeared out of sight. I refused to believe that the ball was in the hole until I walked up and saw it for myself. Luckily, one of the guys got a video of me walking up to get the ball and took a few photos. It is safe to say I won the closest to the pin contest and a skin for the hole! Unfortunately, I still only managed to achieve a 3rd place for the round, but what a memory!
