I was traveling to Vancouver for work and had an extra day to kill so I went to Northlands golf club to play a round. I didn't have my clubs with me so I rented a set. They gave me a very nice Titleist set and I used a Prov 1x golf ball. It took some time to get into the swing of things, but after a full blow up hole on number 7, we walked up to the tee box of number 8. Downhill par 3. 170 yards but playing about 155. I grabbed the 9 iron, lined up just right of the hole, and swung. Perfect contact with a baby draw moving towards the hole. It landed just shy of hole high, about 12 ft right of the hole . it took a small slope towards the hole and just trickled in. It was my first and only hole in one and my entire group (people I'd never met before) went crazy. I had to record a video with them because I knew none of my friends would believe me. My entire group made sure to tell the marshal and I'm listed on their website on the "hole-in one" page. I ready recently that you guys do a tag for a hole in one so I thought I'd post to see if I could get one.
