After 55 years, I finally accomplished a lifelong dream of getting a hole-in-one. It happened on my home course at Hermitage Golf Course outside Nashville on the Generals Retreat 13th hole. The hole was 160 yards from the White tees and I hit an easy 5-iron that landed on the green and rolled straight up and into the hole. It was quite the experience and I’m thankful it finally actually happened.
