Was thankful to attend the US Open twice; Tuesday and Saturday. Of the 2 days, I enjoyed Tuesday a lot more. Crowd was less of course but watching them practice was an eye opening experience, never seen a practice round before. Just to watch them walk around and spend time around the green chipping, putting from all over the place was awesome to see and man they made it look easy. Just effortless outta those rough. A tee shot and then multiple shots into the greens and some of them were playing for money so that was fun to watch as well.

Definitely an awesome experience and The Country Club is something else. What a beautiful place it is and hard to believe a course like that in the middle of Brookline. I hope the US Open will come back again someday. I go again in a heart beat...

Speedy, I use to go to the Masters every year and my favorite days were the practice rounds. I can relate to your experience and totally agree. Those old school courses do offer a real challenge.
