Matador grip size change

    Decided to order the all black Scotty Cameron Matador grip in size small so I could swap out my Matador white XL. Lets see if my putting improves over the season. Currently rolling a studio select fastback 1.5. Has anyone else made this kind of change recently? Would like to hear any opinions on this change.

    When I sent my putters back to Scotty to have work done on them I made the change on grips. My California Del Mar I had the black matador grip put on with everything else, and when I sent my Red X back, I had them put the same grip on it too, for consistency. I love my Red X, but it "mis-behaves", (has to be the plane not the pilot),every so often and needs a time out, so the Del Mar takes over, or on very slow greens, I'll use the Del Mar over the Red X. Worked out good for me

    I’ve used the standard smooth rubber, a 3rd party oversized grip, and have now settled on the (red) midsize grip on my 1 LH and 2 RH Cameron’s. Putters are so individual I’m glad one size does not fit all.

    I had the larger grip put on my golo 5r when sent it to the studio. I love the larger grip. It’s automatic from short putts.
