Magentic Headcover

    I'm sure this has been posted before but I'll ask again. Has anyone converted their velcro headcover to a magnetic closure? I've tried other headcovers on my Phantom 9.5 but like the fit and protection of the stock Scotty just prefer a magnet. There are kits and DIY guides but I don't want to ruin it unless it's super easy.

    It's not super easy. The velcro always wears out. I used to put a snap closure on my old ones when the velcro wouldn't hold up, and that was pretty easy to do, but now I just go buy a magnetic cover.

    I've converted quite of few Scotty covers in the past. I have always brought them to a shoe/boot repair shop and they turn it arounf quickly and easily. I have also brought the magnets with me that I purchased from Home Depot or Lowes. It's worth every cent!
