My New Year's resolution...for starters, I need to quit staring at my new MB's, SM4's and Cali, still in their plastic wrappers...unwrap them, and go out and play. I'd like to improve my greenside bunker play. I'm devoting half of every practice session to practicing those shots.

To break par again. I haven't done it since my second (of three) child was born. Last round out I was over par just once - on the last hole of the day when I bogeyed to finish +1. I seem to be able to shoot in the mid to high 70's all day long, I just want to get over that hump again and shoot "under".
Happy New Year everyone.
2012 - the year that Éire REALLY takes over. Rory will continue to rise in dominance, Graeme will finally figure out his new equipment and Padraig will resurface as a dominant player in tourneys - and Majors. DC? I love the man, but I don't know if he will be back. BEST swan song ever though. Go raibh maith agat, Darren.

I would say to work on my iron and wedge play and to focus more on them. I've been too focused on my driver and wood play to worry about the irons.

Hey Tom,
Mine is to get my handicap down into single digits (I'm currently an 11.8) and keep it there.

To graduate from college, hit more fairways and greens in regulation, and get another hole in one. And spend as much time with my family as I can, and maybe get my girlfriend to marry me. Looks to be a banner year.

My goals are to make the All Navy golf team and qualify for at least one of the US Am or US Open.

My goals are to have better course management, hit more fairways, sell the 07 X forged irons and get new AP'2, have less of an ego, help people with their game to the best of my ability, qualify for both the US Open and Travelers Championship and get myself into better shape (more flexible and stronger).

My 2012 goals are to shoot a play a round with no 5's on the card. Keep the handicap in single digits. Play more meaningful tournaments.

To shoot the majority of my rounds in the 70s. That should keep the handicap firmly in the single digits.
