Well today i woke up to my back window in my SUV broken out. In my SUV was a Brand New Titleist 910 D3 (from my wife) hit 5 times and my whole golf bag stolen out of my vehicle! What is wrong with people? Go out earn your money with a JOB, work hard and purchase your own as I have.... Police were called did a report, called several pawn shops, second hand sporting good stores to put out the word!!! Today is a sad day!!

Hey Greg, I feel your pain...This actually happend to me a year ago. Not sure if you are a homeowner or not, but this is actually covered under your homeowners policy if you were not aware. If they only, and I am not minimizing only, your deductable may be higher than the cost of the club. Hope that lessens some of the pain. -Brian

Not a good feeling. This also happened to me on a golf trip. Trying to figure out everything in your bag and having to write it down was no fun. Home owners insurance did cover mine and luckily it wasn't that big of a hassle since I had most of the receipts. I was able to get my receipts from the stores I bought my clubs, balls, and etc from (Pro golf discount, Puezt and my home golf course). It was very painful going through but I did get fitted for new clubs and ended up shooting my best score ever.

Sorry to hear that Greg. I had some hockey equipment stolen from me a few years back but I have a few friends who that happened too as well with their clubs. I hope somehow they turn up for you.

That's awful.  Hopefully you get them back or get them covered by your insurance company.  One of my best friends had his Scotty swiped right out of his bag on the turn.  I've been paranoid ever since.  I hope karma come around and bites these bums in the @ss.

I say if they find the person, Put a helmet and a cup on him place him at 100 yds and you get 1/2 hour to drill 1 irons at him.

Sorry to hear Greg... I just can't believe it when I hear these stories.  We go out and work hard and spend our extra money on our favorite equipment to have fun on the course and some bums swipe it.

IMO even worse if someone on a course swipes something out of a bag or grabs the whole bag.  Just despicable.  Would love to line up all of these offenders and just drill them with range balls.

Monitor Craigslist. Lots of stolen stuff on there. Easy way to pawn stuff of without questions.

I had this happen to me the morning of a College tournament I went out to my car and the clubs were gone but the left the stereo so it was someone that knew me and knew my clubs were in there. I had to go the the local golf shop and buy an entire new set luckily I knew them well and they allowed me to make payments to them.

Follow up... Thanks to all TT members for your support. I called pawn shops and second hand sporting good stores and local golf shops in the area they all were very nice and took all info to help. Well auto ins. does not cover articles in your vehicle unless its installed or mounted in your vehicle..GRRRR I do not have a home and rent from family. I am on Craiglist daily in the state they were stolden and check every city listed and Ebay daily. This will be a temporary set back for me although i will be playing again and will not give up on these thieves who feel the need to steel!!!!
