Well, I finally did it after 42 yrs of playing this great game! I got a hole-in-one with my TT member and friend Mike Manley playing a links stile golf course in Appalachin, NY called Hiawatha on Saturday July 7th @ 7:00pm on its 180 yd 17th par 3 hole from the blue tees. I hit my Titleist 910h 24 degree hybrid and it was all over the pin from the time it left the clubface. We couldn't tell if it went in or went long so when we reached the green, I started looking over the back with no luck. I then reversed my course and started down the slope towards the flag. The ball mark was about 2 ft directly inline with the the pin and sure enough, I GOT ONE!!!!!!! There was a wedding reception going on behind us and a father with his 3 young children were standing on the bank just above our tee box so he was telling them to be quiet while Mike and I teed off. He exclaimed after I hit my shot, "it's all over the pin!" Mike then said, " that might have gone in?" I couldn't see it when it landed on the green as I have bad eyes in the low light of the evening. I knew it was a good swing and I could follow the balls flight, but didn't actually see it go in, darn it! I had to put all Titleist equipment in my bag this year inorder to finally get my 1st with many more to follow, I hope. Just so happens, Mike Manley got a hole-in-one this year too at the golf course I work at. It was Chenango Valley State Park GC on the 3rd hole, a par 3 of 146 yds with his pitching wedge on April 16th, 2012. Must be we're quite a pair, lol! Thanks Titleist, Vokey and Cameron for making the best clubs and balls on the Market!
