Amelia Island is a really nice spot and I'm certain you'll have a great time. A few friends and I made the trip a couple years back and loved it.

We do not have Titleist rentals onsite at any of the courses within Amelia proper; however, if you can make the drive down to Ponte Vedre (about an hour south) we have rentals available at TPC Sawgrass and Ponte Vedra Inn and Club.

Our round at TPC was the highlight of the trip. Sad to say I added to the golf ball population at the bottom of the pond on 17, but there's always next time.

I played Amelia Island Ocean course last week and was surprised at how much of a "resort" feeling course it was. Very short, tight and a very slow round. Greens were tiny and wind was blowing a good bit. Wasn't my type of fun course and later played King & Bear @ WGV at enjoyed that much more. Like Chris said, there are several great courses in the area and I am unaware of the other Amelia Island resort course and how it is. Have a great trip!

Thank for the info, Chris. Luckily, the pro shop at Amelia Island Plantation had 2 Titleist trial sets - AP2 4-P irons, TMB 3i, 917 D,W and F, as well as Vokey wedges.

I played the Oak Marsh course and had an awesome round. I absolutely CRUSHED these clubs. Not sure I would have hit the TM rentals they had this well (maybe I would have). I play the 915 D, W and F as well as the Vokey wedges so I knew how I'd play those. I hit Mz irons and figured the AP2 would be a close bet for me. Now, these AP2s are on my WISH list!

The confidence Titleist gave me went a long way today. Glad to be a member of Team Titleist!
