  1. Last April I had a Left Knee Revision (They took an Old Knee Replacement out and they put in a new knee). My knee healed up nicely, but everyday since May 1st I have had a headache. Turns out they are Cluster Headaches and I have found that these Nasty Headaches have interfered with my golf game. I have played only a few 18 hole rounds, but mostly 9 hole rounds.I basically play in between headaches which is no fun. My best round was on Veterans Day,I shot a 77,which was a lot of fun to do. I have a neurologist and I'm taking many meds to help cope with the headaches. I want to ask, How many of you have dealt with headaches like this and tried to play golf?

Can never say I've dealt with headaches that have affected my golf. Wish you the best and hope you can get over the headaches and start playing golf again!

I hope you get some relief soon. I had a few headaches. The problem was eye strain. I discovered that I needed glasses. Never wore glasses before but that was the fix for me. I always play with prescription sun gasses rain or shine.
  4. I agree with Deno. I suffer with headaches from time to time but they seem to coincide with the time frame that indicates a visit to my eye doctor. Most likely results in tweaking the script. I use contact lenses for golf. Nothing better for comfort and clarity. Nice pair of Oakley's over the top.

WakeForestFan - I hope your neurologist can help you find a cause and then relief. Being in pain is no way to experience life. Thoughts and prayers with you. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and get relief before the New Year.

Fellow Wake Forest Fan, I am sorry you are suffering from these awful headaches. Have you had your blood pressure checked recently ? Hopefully, your neurologist will order some tests such as CT scan and MRI; and find the cause of your headaches. And I hope your doctor will prescribe some form of medication that will cure your headaches. I wish you the best and keep us posted. Go Deacs ! Class of ‘77.
