Many courses pride themselves on the speed of their greens. The faster the better right? Maybe not so much. Coming from a small public course, the greens are anything but fast. So when I go to a course with very fast greens I spend some of the night before putting on the linoleum in my bathroom. Seems to work pretty well

What speed do you prefer and why? How do you prepare for a strange course? Let me know below\/

Love fast greens, the faster the better, my club in West Virginia has pretty quick bent greens. But I do prefer fast Bermuda. Heading down to Doral and Pinehurst this winter. May add Sawgrass and Harbor Town. Love the greens at Pinehurst they are very fast and full of slopes and breaks, caddies at Pinehurst assure you that you have an idea of the line, then its up to you to get the speed right. Every time I have played Harbor Town the greens were fuzzy and slow.

Preparation before a strange course. Must confess to no preparation other than getting there at Tee Time, and then checking the score card for a favorite yardage tee and its slope rating.
