The golf ball is the only piece of equipment you use on every shot and there are many game-changing performance and quality differences between various brands and models. Ultimately, using the same model golf ball on every shot and every round eliminates performance variation, builds confidence and consistency, and ultimately leads to shooting lower scores. So we want to know, do you always play the same golf ball?

I’m a loyal pro v and tried the left dash for fun…went back sold on the fact I like the performance and feel of pro v

I have been playing the Pro V1 mainly but I do get some AVX's every once in a while just for a change of pace. I always end up going back to the V1 though.

I don't have a ball preference and play whatever is in my bag.

I play X regularly, but occasionally play V. Other than feel, there are no significant performance differences.

I have played a ProV1x almost exclusively for the past several years, following a Titleist in person ball fitting session. I say almost exclusively because Titleist has provided me test or prototype balls on several occasions, some of which have not been updates of the ProV1 line. Winter, summer, wind, rain, the conditions do not make a difference in the ball I play.
  11. 99.9% of the time I play AVX, but I’ve been gifted some Pro V1 and V1x over the last year, so I’ll put them in play too.

    I’m an AVX guy also.
  13. Since switching to the AVX a few years ago, there has been no reason for me to use another ball. I have everything I need from the AVX. Distance, feel, low wind piercing flight and control on the greens.

I sometimes will switch between ProV1x and ProV1 left dash on certain situations. Left dash I believe is better into the wind. Although you can't go wrong the ProV1 is a great ball too. I will play with all 3 models and never lose a step. They are far superior than any other balls on the market!
  16. My regular ball is the ProV1, but I do switch over the Prov1x sometimes. I have a dozen of AVX to try in the spring. The AVX may help me with my dispersion.
  17. I always use a Titleist ball in the winter. But in the summer, I always use a ProV1x. Play Well,

  18. Most of the time, DASH -ProV1x, but ProV1x gets some use.
  19. I've played the Titleist exclusively for years. I think playing a ball consistently is just as important as any other aspect of the game.

I have played Titleist Pro V1 for decades. The best ball in golf, period.
  21. I know, I know, you should stick with one ball but I'm the guy that's always searching for the next best thing for my game. New balls come out and you have to try them.
Let's be honest here, we all might try other balls BUT if you're like me they all get compared to the ProV1.

I answered “no”. I normally play ProV1 for the feel but will put the x in play if I feel I need the spin.

Sometimes I switch balls but they are always a Titleist ie: Pro V1, ProVX or Tour Soft

Where I am at right now with my game, it comes down to price. I still lose too many golf balls to be paying $55 for 12. I 100% know and understand the importance of playing the same ball, I just can’t afford it yet with my inconsistency.
However, if Titleist could offer a “Golf Ball Membership” or “Subscription” that would allow those using more balls per year to subscribe and save would hold a huge value!
  25. Here's one thing I'd say to that. To play, you have to spend anywhere from $25 to $30 for a dozen relatively decent balls, right? So what are you saying? Your game isn't worth another $20 to $25 to have the BEST ball in your bag?
