Hello Teammates I will be visiting the Fort Meyers area with a couple of groups the end of February. Do you have any recommendations on golf courses to play. We have a private residence to stay in, so we are not locked in at any specific golf resort, which can be an advantage or disadvantage...I would appreciate any wisdom you may offer!

Thanks! Old Corkscrew is an old friend that needs a visit for sure! I will check out the others...
  6. I would go to Golfnow.com and evaluate the options available for play. Old Corkscrew is a great course but is expensive on a relative basis. I guess you could say you get what you pay for!

Just a thought...I just returned from the area and really enjoyed all the great courses.

    Esplande, Old Crokscrew, TwinEagles, etc...
  7. Corkscrew is great. Also check out Hammock Bay and the Rookery down in Marco.

My son and I played Heron's Glen Golf and Country Club last year. It was a very nice place that was reasonably priced for a nice course (roughly $75 per person).

They will have a few deals online.
Have a good trip. We will be there in April for a round or two.

  10. Ft. Myers has great options, Old Corkscrew is great, magnolia landing is a good track, heritage palms has 36 I don’t know if it’s gone completely private. Ft. Myers CC is an old Ross design. Naples has a ton of courses most are great tracks. I used to live down there and played all over the place.
