Rumor is there will be new irons, but the AP name will be changing to something else

Interesting thoughts on the name change from AP...

Last May I was with the chief editor of a Monthly Golf (rearrange to make the title) publication and he was adamant as a golf industry insider that the new Driver and FW metals would be 919's despite the rumours to the contrary...

Like Calli Apex I think the AP, CB and MB's are great names for marketing as you know what you are getting unlike those that change the name and looks every year....

If you say you play AP's people know you play Titleist and we don't seem to care if they are 912,914,916,918 or whatever comes next.

Not heard a thing, I guess towards end of June you may begin to see them on tour.

The woods/metals changed from the usual progression to TS last year, so perhaps there is something similar in store for irons.
I’m still on 716 AP2s so am eagerly awaiting any news!

I’ve not seen or heard of anything yet, it’s normally June / July the tour player start getting there hands on them for testing

Some of us have actually had the new irons in their sweaty palms.
