I ALWAYS USE A SOFT BALL IN COLD TEMPS. ONCE IT HITS 70 I BRING OUT THE PROV 1. WHEN ITS COLD OUT A SOFTER BALL LIKE THE NXT S JUST FEELS BETTERS.
