Planning on sending my Studio Stainless in for refurbishing and customization. Torn between the standard and black finish. Has anyone gotten the black finish? Is it more matte than gloss, similar to what comes on the more recent putters?

15th hole at Came Down. 6 iron drifting in with the breeze, landed front of the green and gently rolled out of sight. Didnt realise it had gone in until we couldnt see the ball as we got closer!

Short par 4 only 270 yards. Choked down a little on driver. Ball bounced twice and into the cup. I’m 46 and have been playing since I was 10 and this is my first one!!!

So, I have a lot of toe hits with my irons. I contribute it to the wonderful out to in swing I have, maybe I'm wrong on that. For whatever reason it is hard for me to swing down the line. Any thoughts or tips for this. TIA.
