After playing the Pro V1x for a number of years, I recently put the Pro V1 into play because I was looking to bring my ball flight down a little and I’ve always enjoyed the softer feel of the Pro V1.

So, I decided to give it a go and have been really happy with the results.
    • I love the trusoft ball! I think it is the longest and softest dt that i have played since they have been in production!THANKS ACUSHNET!

I have played with ProV1 for a while now. It is a ball that can be counted on for a consistent performance. I have also been fit a few times for the ball, and the results have kept me in the ProV1 for the last 10+ years

It fits my game the best, I started with DT Solo, the NXT Tour & Tour S back in 2011-2014 then I started playing the Pro V1 and my putting got better, my driving distance was a few yards better than the NXT but my approach shots stayed closer to my ball mark than the other 2 previous balls I played, so it made sense to play ball I could score better with.....

I preferred the 2011-2015 ball. But this year I finally grew to love the 2017 ball so now that's all I use
    • The reason that I like the DT TruSoft is that I like the soft feel and the way it reacts on the green. My game is such that stopping a shot on the green as soon as it hits is not something I do. I like a little roll-out after the landing, especially on chips and short pitches. I find the DT a great ball for my game, the price point isn't bad either, and the TruSoft gives me all of the length I need. Besides, the DT SoLo is the ball I used to get my one and only HIO in 57 yrs. of playing and the TruSoft is the next generation.

    • This year I have been playing the Pro V1x. I love the ball but at times it seems to fly too high. Next year I will try the standard Pro V to help with ball flight.

Pro V1x. I've been using the x for several years now. The one word to describe - Confidence! Always know how it'll react around the greens - the spin, check and stop.

I switched from ProV1x to ProV1 this year, but have been trying the AVX. Still favor the ProV1 however.

Fits my game the best, but I have played Pro V1x, AVX, and Tour Soft. I keep going back to the Pro V1. I like the ball flight, spin and the soft feel off the putter.

Was a big fan of the ProV1x until a couple of years ago when I tried the newer ProV. Made the switch until the AVX came out. Really like that ball and hope you keep it in the rotation. Tony
    • I'm a 16.8 handicap. I'm looking to switch to the AVX from the NXT Tour Soft? thoughts?

I play the Tour Soft simply by choice and price point. I have never been fit for a specific ball. To be honest, I end up playing quite a few Pro V1/V1X as then seem to be lost quite a bit where I play; but their loss is my gain.

ProV1, but sometimes when the fairways are soft i'll use a DT Trusoft for a little more rollout.

I played the Pro V1 until a couple of years ago. At a Titleist ball fitting, they told me that I should be using the 1x based on the numbers I was generating. I made the switch and have stuck with it. Periodically, I will play a around or two with Pro V1's I either have left over or that have been given to me. I do notice a difference off the tee, but find both similar around the greens. I'm not a spinner of the ball, but find the 1x works well for me in all aspects of my game.

Can’t beat the feel and performance of the Pro V1. I recently switched from the TP5 and couldn’t be happier.

Cant beat the pro v1x! The best ball on the market hands down

Love the DT Soft, the older I get - the shorter I get and the excellent feel, great carry and soft on the greens made my gave enjoyable again!
Best ball I have played in my 60 years on the course!
Try it, you will love it (and it's affordable)!!

I actually can't decide... I'm a low ball player (5 hcp) so the Pro V1X is what has been recommended to me in two different fittings by club pros. But I like the softer feel of the regular Pro V1 off all my clubs.

I don't notice much difference in distance between either.

Anyone else play a different Titleist than recommended?

Tried all the Titleist variants but always go back to the ProV1. Love the overall performance and feel.

I was given a dozen Pro V1's when I bought my new AP1 718's a few weeks ago been really enjoying using a much better ball than previous. The chaps at St Ives also gave me a sleeve of Pro V1x to try out so im now giving them a try aswell at the minute. Been trying both on the pitching/chipping practise greens to start to decide which one i prefer the best. The fitter said after a few hits the Pro V1x might be better for me. I think theyre both good balls at the minute and may well use them both depending on wind on the day etc

Prov1.... Tried others but nothing even comes remotely close to the performance of a ProV1.
