  1. AVX for the last six months. Really impressed with the low spin off the driver but plenty of spin with irons & wedges. I’ve also gained about half a club with my long & mid-irons. Also love the dimple pattern. It just suits my eye. But the deciding factor is since I switched to the AVX I dropped from a 9 to a 7.5.

I play the ProV1X in the summer and Tour Soft in the winter.

Good Question... I always played the Pro V1X, but the golf ball selector keeps coming up Pro V1. I am going to have to get a couple of sleeves and experiment once the slow melts.
  4. I go for the DT TruSoft. I find that it has all of the distance that I need for my game and I like the soft feel. I like my short game to have a bit of roll-out and the TruSoft gives me that. Plus it has really good durability so I can get several rounds out of each ball and combine that with a great price makes it a great value. Keep up the great work Titleist.

  5. I've been playing the trusoft for a long time now and I'm really used to the flight, the roll out and durability is unavailable too. I have used pro v1's and I do like the drop and stop of the ball, but I love the price of the trusoft. I think it's amazing value for money. I do wish you could get custom numbers on the site for the trusoft and not just the pro v1's though.

  6. I played the Prov1 for years until last year. This is when I made the switch to the new AVX. I love the feel plus the add distance it has given me on my woods and irons. Around the green is amazing too.
  7. Nothing beats a ProV

Pro V1 all the way, it just seems to suit any situation
  9. Currently playing Pro V1x but got the new version of the 1x and the one are will test over the next month ready for the new season
Got the Proto's of each and enjoy them both so I am not wedded to either and have been giving the AVX a go too
We are spoiled for choice in TT!!!

    I rotate between ProV1 and ProV1x.
I tried the AVX last season, it was a good ball, but still, prefer the Provs.
I feel like my shot dispersion is a little better as well as the control with both balls, I do play more of ProV1x because I really like my ball flight and distance of the tee with it.
Due to the weather in Michigan, I haven't had a chance to pick up the 2019 versions and to take it out to play.
Hopefully, the ice and snow will be gone soon and the courses open in a few weeks.
  11. I have been using ProV1x for the last few years as It gives a better click off the putter than the ProV1.
  12. I mainly play the toursoft and have since it came out. I like feed back i get off my iron shots in particular with getting good compression and i like the fact you can kind of “choose” for it to roll out or hop and stop on a pitch shot. I am not one that likes my pitches to stop on a dime, but rather to have some rollout.

Pro-V's ever since they came into play!
Occasionally I will put a Pro-V1x into play however!

ProV has always been my #1 ball. But I loved the feel of the AVX. My new ball for 2019 will be ProV Optic Yellow #17.

I play to prov1 because of the feel and sound around the green. Cant beat it!

ProV1s, they are a better fit for my game, tried them a few years back and have not looked back.
