Started same as you and after trying, testing and playing different clubs lucked out to find Titleist AP1’S. They just felt good for my swing.
5 years later I now realize I can play Titleist driver and Hybrid and they are just as forgiving as any other brand and better performing.
    Keep on playing!

Welcome! That’s quite a bag set up! Enjoy the game, great sticks, great community.
  3. Definitely. It has been so long now that I can not tell you what the scoring differential was. After 20 some years my memory is a little hazy. It started with the consistency of the ball. As I got older and technology changed the fine folks at Titleist were the only ones that would build me a dependable Driver without charging huge shaft upgrades. Which my father really appreciated while raising two boys who grew up to be teaching pros. I can say that I have seen a remarkable difference in consistency with my 718 AP2s compared to my 716 MBs. Especially in the mid and long irons. Cant wait for the snow to melt. I just wanted to say welcome to the club bud! We are glad to have you and keep swinging those new sticks.

Congratulations on the improvement.. Quality clubs and fitting definitely help. Just remember no more blaming the clubs.
