I posted this yesterday on Clubhouse Discussion, regarding Bottlenecks in delivery of products from the far East. You may have missed it and hope this sheds some light your situation.

    May 25, 2021

I read this in the business section of our paper this morning and thought I would post it in hopes it would explain for the delays that companies (i.e., Titleist, FJ) are experiencing during the pandemic. I called customer service yesterday regarding a tour bag that I should have received this week and it will not be shipped until April 8th and I simply said; "no worries, I understand, thank you."

"Supply bottlenecks leave ships stranded, businesses stymied, By Joyce Rosenberg Associated Press Supply bottlenecks leave ships stranded, businesses stymied.

Container ships are seen docked in the Port of Los Angeles, which has been hit hard by a cargo bottleneck brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. File/AP

NEW YORK — A trade bottleneck born of the COVID-19 outbreak has U.S. businesses anxiously awaiting goods from Asia — while off the coast of California, dozens of container ships sit anchored, unable to unload their cargo.

The pandemic has wreaked havoc with the supply chain since early 2020, when it forced the closure of factories throughout China.

The seeds of the current problems were sown last March, when Americans stayed home and dramatically changed their buying habits — instead of clothes, they bought electronics, fitness equipment and home improvement products.

U.S. companies responded by flooding reopened Asian factories with orders, leading to a chain reaction of congestion and snags at ports and freight hubs across the country as the goods began arriving.

Main Street businesses, especially those that import goods through the West Coast, are now forced to wait months instead of the usual weeks for a delivery from China, and no one knows when the situation will be resolved. Owners do a lot of explaining to customers, order more inventory than usual and lower their expectations for when their shipments will arrive."

In reading further, the AP reporter stated that normal thirty day deliveries from overseas were exceeding that time by two months plus. We need to show some empathy. Hope you will be more understanding after reading this article. Titleist and FJ can only ship what they can get and once it gets to the ports, when it gets unloaded that is another story. Kudos to our folks for getting it to us as soon as they receive it.
  2. I agree with you Chuck, but my my empathy wears thin when titlest do not communicate clearly to there customers or PGA stores. I have been waiting over 3.75 months for a driver- and the only communication is not too sure, should be this month (March). It is now 30/03/2021 - I have no idea when it'll arrive.

A friend of mine ordered the T300 w/ AMT Red shaft at Dick's Sporting Good. They told him it could be a while, up to 6 weeks and he had no issues with it. A week later there was a box at his front door, he couldn't believe it. Him and I met up at the driving range yesterday to get some practice in and boy does he love them.
  4. I ordered T100S irons with KBS Tour shafts January 11,2021. I was told today the best case that I would be receiving them in June!

I ordered direct from Titleist, a TSi2 10 degree driver with Tensei AV Blue Raw 55, 1/2 inch short on March 22, 2021. Received the driver today March 30, 2021. Because I had a gift card, I also ordered through Golf Galaxy, a TSi2 15 degree fairway with Tensei AV Blue Raw 65, 1/2 inch short on March 21, 2021. Still waiting for it. Estimated to be 4 weeks.

The TSi2 15 degree fairway with Tensei AV Blue Raw 65, 1/2 inch short on March 21, 2021 mentioned on my March 31, 2021 post arrived 2 days later. I did not know it had been shipped. Today, I received two custom Wedges ordered from Wedgeworks on March 19, 2021. I have ordered a total of 6 clubs within the past 8 months and all have arrived within the window provided by Titleist / Vokey on the ordering page.

I placed a custom order for t100 irons through tgw on1/18/21 with expected delivery in 4-5weeks. TGW advised the order now has an expected delivery of 5/2/21, or about 4 months. I understand Covid has slowed things down a bit, BUT 4 MONTHS. Why so long?

Ordered up my tsi2 5wd March 29 and got the call yesterday that the golf store has it already. Totally unexpected. Took less than a week. Not sure how they did that
  10. Ordered T100-s 3-PW with Nippon Tour 105 stiff shaft from Club Champion on Nov 2. Told 6-8 weeks delivery. Then in January told Feb 15 delivery. Then March 15 delivery. then March 31. Now the shafts aren't available until Apr 20. Cancelled order. Not sure who is the issue, Titleist or CC. At this point I don't care. Very disappointing but I will find something else.
  11. Looks like I'm not alone. Pretty disappointed with the customer service.
Traded in my AP2's and ordered T100s from Dicks 2/27 and was told yesterday they'd ship 4/26 or two solid months later. First, it was shafts backordered until 2/12 and now the limited edition heads. After seeing these posts I'm skeptical they'll even ship then. Now I'm club-less with a golf trip planned next weekend and gotta take my wife's Top Flights. Just an email update from Titleist would be great.

(hesitant to submit after seeing the "squeaky wheel" comment up there)

I ordered a set of T200 with the Tensei Red shaft and MCC4 oversize grips, it has been 6 weeks, is there some sort of material issue?

I ordered a set of T110s, on Feb 25, was told they would be shipped on May 15th. I have a current set, so not a big deal, cannot wait to get them.
  14. Well my order for T300 AMT black, +2° 5-G Plus 22° hybrid and 2 Vokey wedges went in last Monday 12th April UK. Told 4-6 weeks.... I’m watching this space religiously now as I have no irons other than borrowed to get me around at the minute after the theft of my last set. I’m hoping the wait is worth it.

Unfortunately the shipping issues are affecting all industries all over the world. If I were a retailer (brick and mortar) or account, I would never give a guarantee for delivery. I would simply explain I cannot guarantee delivery due to the pandemic and delayed deliveries. Some companies are now posting these disclaimers on line. Just sayin. Giving an unrealistic delivery to a customer puts the blame back on the manufacturer, who in most instances have no control of the overseas deliveries. Have been waiting for my golf bag for many weeks but I know why and choose not to blame Titleist for a worldwide crisis. I wish it were easier for us and them.

My replacement bag arrived yesterday. Kudos to customer service and shipping department.

So there is a definite lack of communication from all of the OEM's to the consumers. With the amount of orders they have, they would be making phone calls all day every day.

What should be communicated is the reason for the delay. Is it the grip? Golf Pride and Lamkin are decimated right now. But a simple grip change could speed up the order. Is it a head issue? Maybe they are out of 9 irons for example, well can they release the rest of the set and ship the 9 when it's back in stock? Or is it a shaft issue? Maybe they are out of 9 iron shafts for example, well can the rest of the set be released?

I think we can all agree something in hand is better than nothing.

The issue is that you can wait on hold for hours trying to get through to a live person to get these answers.

I just ordered 12 new clubs but I also had surgery this week so I can't play for 12 weeks. I'm hoping they arrive within that timeframe! It would be nice to know if the components are in stock or if there is something that could potentially push it back longer than 12 weeks.

So just to reiterate, it might be a component issue that is causing your delay(s).

I called customer service and spoke to a very nice woman. We went through my orders just to make sure they were entered correctly and she informed me that the Golf Pride Tour Velvet on the irons was backordered for at least two months. She said if I changed it to their stock 360 grip, they would ship out in 2 weeks. Done!

I'm not a fan of the 360, I could have lived with the TV for a season but the plan was to put the MCC Plus 4 Team grips on them anyways so I will just do that sooner than planned.
  19. I placed an order at my local retailer was tied 4-5 weeks, 12 weeks later they never came in so cancelled and just stuck with my old titleist irons.

I wonder what will be delivered first, My 2021 Club Cameron kit, or My SM8 wedges. I'm just hoping I get one or the other before 2022.
  21. Just ordered a TSi3 18* FW the other day... Expecting somewhere between 4 and 100 weeks and looking forward to it arriving whenever it does.

Good luck to the Titleist manufacturing team ;-).

I totally understand the delay. Everyday I see the delivery truck I think, "today might be the day!"

  23. Ordered the following on 3/22 for my junior who has started tournaments already.
    TSi3 D - Tensei Blue 55R -1 inch
    TSi3 3W - Tensei Blue -1/2 inch
    TSi2 H - Tensei Blue -1/2

Initial estimate was “2-3 weeks”. Acushnet’s site then had an estimate of May 10th which is still what it says. I asked my golf pro to talk to Titleist and ask them to use whatever grip they have in stock. That was two weeks ago so I”m not sure if that has helped. Luckily the golf pro has been letting my junior borrow some clubs for tournaments.
  24. ordered 5-9 620mb (all stock) on 3/26 and was initially told ship date of 4/26. Now I’m being told they’re not shipping until 6/21 because the heads are delayed. I don’t understand, they don’t have 5 heads available in the MB’s anywhere? I would be wary of ordering right now it seems they’re having trouble fulfilling even the simplest of orders.
