Bought a full set in 1985 for $399. Inflation index says that's about $950 today. I played Cally about a dozen years ago, my pro was a Cally guy. Not to speak ill of the deceased, but I blame Ely cally for the 1st $200 club, $300 club, all the way to the $500 club with the beginning and run through all the Big Bertha's, great big, titanium, etc. you name it. Maybe I'm wrong but those are the first I remember hitting those unhappy plateaus.

Very true it seems all club makers are raising there prices massively is brexit to blame ??
