Adam Scott, DLIII and Steve Strickler were Ambassadors that were fan favorites and represented Titleist in a positive manner. But with all golf brands, all good things come to an end eventually.

Eventually every Pro has to blame their poor play on something. Adam Scott hasn't won enough in a long time, so he has to change something up. It's beyond me how he doesn't win more with the swing he has. It's one of the prettiest, most technically sound, golf swing on Tour.

Adam Scott is a class act and it is sad to see him part ways with Titleist, but if he didn’t get the sticker and bag tag, well I totally understand now! Ha-Ha!!

Players of all brands come and go over time.
It’s there own decision at the end of the day. Who are we to judge and argue there reasons.
They were a great service to Titleist and will be missed.
Lots of new young blood coming through in the game and hopefully a few will become Titleist ambassadors ️‍♂️

I would guess....likely wanting to try something different..ie Driver....just to shake up his bag.
All best to him....nice to see him wearing Augusta Green again

Like all the other previous Titleist players, Tiger, DL3, David Duval, Phil...A lot of it comes down to the almighty dollar....They can spread that same amount of money to a lot more up and comers....Like they did when they signed Jordan and JT...

it seems that each season there are many changes to staffers as companies either add or subtract. With Adam I am wondering if it has to do with his interest in the "other tour" as it would be much less travel for him and with his newish family and the money with possibly lesser competition.

I hate to see him leave Team Titleist as his swing and endorsement of the products has always been outstanding.

Given Adam's comments about the "Super League", Im not surprised. Players need to do what they think they need to do with their equipment, swing and finances. It is a bit sad to see someone Ive admired for a long time move away from clubs I have played almost my entire life.

So I see it looked like Adam Scott is playing Titleist clubs at Bay Hill today. Is that by choice or by contract? Did he figure out that the only way he gets the big brass bag tag is if he plays Titleist clubs?

It appears Scott is still playing Titleist clubs, with the exception of his putter.

You are correct Mitch. He has not changed his equipment, just is no longer under contract as he explores options. He also now has more latitude to advertise his preferred clothing line with his had and bag now open for advertisement. He left his TS4 driver at home this week but hasn’t replaced it with another brand, just playing with his 3 wood only.

It's becoming more common these days as players change a bag sponsor. If you look at Jordan Spieth, he is listed as a brand ambassador but has an AT&T branded bag.

I would think the 2 most valuable spots for sponsors would be the bag and front of the hat.

I think I heard on Golf Channel that Adam Scott was using a 2-wood off the tee. I read that his longest club this week was a 13.5-degree TSi2 fairway wood.
  16. Having followed the tour for a long time like many in this forum we all realize that sometimes even long time ambassadors for OEM's make a change. I think it is sad since Adam Scott and Titleist were the perfect combination...

It will be interesting to see who he lands with!

    Cheers, Chris

Ive always associated Adam with Titleist - he continues to play a lot of the clubs still - good testament to how good Titleist products are!

Guys he is literally still using the fire looking custom Adam scott irons. And there was much to do about him using a 2 wood for tee shots this wkend, which was also a titleist. Adam scott doesn't seem to be the guy that makes drastic changes in his golfing life.

Always enjoy the time of year when players are moving around and changing companies. I’d love to see a bigger presence in LPGA team Titleist sponsorships as well.

New reports that Adam has been testing a competitor's clubs and could be adding them to the bag as early as the Players Championship. Scottie Sheffler signed an endorsement deal today (March 9). He'll be playing woods and irons but the article made no mention of wedges and putter, which have been Vokey and Scotty.
