  1. I plan to write a golf instruction book in 2017. That will make me crystallize what I know works in improving my game. My goal is to drop my handicap by 4 to a 1 and I will: Putt every day, even indoors, working on a specific goal each time; Work on hitting chip shots to the best place to make the next putt by putting a plastic plate on the green where I want the ball to finish and a yellow sticky to mark the spot where I want the ball to land; and I will practice "reading greens and grain" before and after every round.
  2. I have added a Scotty Cameron in my bag for the start of the 2017 season, would Like to think it would help me improve and lower my scoring ,made up my mind to practice a lot more and visit my Pro for the odd lesson.
  3. Abby,
First and foremost I will be using the same ball for all rounds a Pro vx1. Last year I would change out balls thinking today I'm not hitting it well so as not to lose my Titleist balls switch to lesser ball. I will also be more confident this year along with more practice I am expecting to lower my handicap a couple of points.

Happy 2017 Abby, and all Team Titleist members.
I haven't been around much in 2016. I had pretty major back surgery and am still trying to get a game, or at least a decent game back. In 2017 I have to do a much better job at physical preparation. I played quite a bit in 2016, but thought that just playing would get me back in shape: Wrong. Have talked to my post-op Physical Therapist for specific routines to get flexibility and balance back. Before surgery shot upper 70s (occasionally) mostly low-mid 80s. Post surgery, broke 90 once or twice.
Hoping everyone has a healthy, happy New Year.

Hit more GIR, gain 20 extra yards driving and practice playing more golf holes (6-9 hole sessions) than just playing 18 holes of golf. Want to move from AP1s to AP2s... need better ballstriking. I will do it!
  6. Abby,
Good question. As I am new to the game but love it I am always trying anything to make my game better. My goal last year was to improve my short game and that did happen. I must say my Vokey SM5 wedges have made that happen (I now carry 5 different wedges in my bag). This year I want to make my putting game better. Although my short game now leaves my ball closer to the hole on the green, my putting doesn't help much.
I plan to spend more time learning to read greens and hitting the ball better with my putter. I have been looking to get a good feeling putter, but just haven't found the right feel yet Luke I did my wedges.

Have a great year everyone and good luck.
