  1. 1. Simply play more golf. Back problems have kept me from swinging a club for a couple of years now. I've made be with a couple of scrambles and a round here and there, but really pay for it the next couple of weeks with pain and mobility issues.
    2. Make playing golf a bigger priority and focus. Regardless of back pain, a day on the course is better than off.

Well the start to the season hasn't been what weall hoped eh?? but on a positive note its given me plenty of chance to grind my swing in the net at home. Just recently purchased new ts3 driver and 3 wood and have some sm7 wedges on the way so hopefully won't be long and we will all be able to play again safely. Until then take care everyone and look for better days ahead #TEAMTITLEIST

Since I set my goals for 2020 a lot has transpired and time to make an adjustment. I had steroid injections in December and January for my back pain and then surgery in early February. So after 12 weeks of recovery and PT the doctor has released me to putting and chipping for a few weeks. Stated I might return to a full 18 holes in June. Listed below are my original goals:

    1. Improve on health issues. Back and pulmonary. Be able to walk 18 holes again.
    2. Continue to work with teacher on alignment, tempo and basics.
    3. To shoot in 70's on a more consistent basis.
    4. Handicap index to single digit.
    5. Continue to have fun and not set too many goals.

REVISION FOR 2020...........................a little more defined

    1. Continue with exercises, walking and weight control. Hoping to be able to walk 18 holes when our course reopens in late 2020 or early 2021.
    2. Work with instructor as needed throughout the year.
    3. Continue working on putting and chipping leading up to range time, then hitting irons and woods thru the end of May, working on alignment and tempo.
    4. Return to playing 18 holes in June on limited basis.
    5. Full time golf in July and playing tournament schedule.
    6. To shoot in the 70's on a more consistent basis with ultimate goal of bringing handicap index to single digit.
    7. Continue to enjoy golf and have fun..........

I'd love to improve my shots from 100 yards in, getting closer will help my scoring ability.
  8. Last two years have been tough with little golf for health and family reasons. For this year:

    1. Relish the chance to play the sport I love
    2.Get back in 70s consistently.
3.Get index back down to 7.5 or less
4.Play more with my wife who is taking up the game..
    5.Get back into playing tournaments
    6. Win more Sunday morning matches than I lose

i do not care what my score average is ... My biggest priority this year is to

Quick update on 2020 goals ... my partner and I won the first "Major" at our club this past weekend. And in our practice round on Friday, I nearly crossed off another goal of breaking par this year. I stood on the 16th tee at -2, but bogied 16 & 18 to finish at even par 70-so close yet so far!
