Can't believe how fast it sold out, lucky enough to get myself and 3 other TT members in. Looking forward to attending and catching up with some old friends. Pinehurst certainly doesn't disappoint and I'm sure it's gonna be a great time for all attending, Team Titleist does it right.

    Cheers!

Alas, I was sitting in the COVID Clinic when the announcement came out and missed the chance to go. Maybe next time!

Hoping that COVID does not play into our event in September. I have taken all precautions and had both of my shots and am still and will be wearing masks. Am really excited about the event. Have already had three events cancelled in 2021 because of the pandemic. We were supposed to work the Pro/Am at the RBC Heritage and the PGA Championships, and because of the decrease of the numbers of patrons, I was notified Monday that we will not be a part of either this year. What a disappointment. Received a call today from our travel agent to notify us that our two week trip down the Rhine had been cancelled due to border restrictions. This was a reschedule from last year. Was looking forward to Amsterdam, France, Germany, and Switzerland. Oh well, there is always June 2022. My wife said we are going somewhere so think where you want to go. I am all in. Told her it would be a combination trip (to include golf). Maybe Maua has cleared? Thank you Titleist and let's hope for a clean slate in NC in September. With all the vaccines that are being offered I am very optimistic.

I am so hopeful that you are right on the vaccine getting COVID behind us.

I still have a Championship event (AmFam) that may come off w/o fans in June, but as a shot tracker, I should be ok. I'm on a scoreboard at the Ryder Cup, but if no fans, would they still need 9 scoreboards?? Possibly only the Masters can compete for crowd energy. Would it still be a Ryder Cup with no fans?

The TT International has been delayed twice now. Making plans for a third time for one event is getting crazy.

I sure by September we're closer to some form of herd immunity. I suspect the mask wearing will be part of our everyday lives moving forward. As a business owner, so far none of my employees have called in sick due to the flu and I believe a lot of that is related to all the hand sanitizing and mask wearing we've been doing for the last year. I visited Pinehurst a couple of weeks ago and my guess is the hand sanitizer stations that are littered all over the resort will still be there in September.

I think I read the Pinehurst website, that the caddy protocols have changed quite a bit. They no longer hand you a club, but sit the bag down and step away and you take it out and put it back? Also they no longer clean your ball on the green?

What about the flagsticks, do they remain in, or do the caddies remove them?

I certainly understand those precautions, but in a way, it does take away a bit from the caddie experience. But for their health and others, I certainly don't have an issue with it. Was just curious in what ways it's changed.

Copied this off the caddie protocol site today for Pinehurst: "No one is to tend or touch the flagstick." This could change by September but imagine it will remain in place. NC protocol is pretty strict when it comes to COVID. One of the toughest in the US.

I've gotten accustomed to leaving the flagstick in and honestly if anything, my hdcp dropped in 2020. I'm not sure if I can attribute the change to playing more often last year or the flagstick or a combination of both. Even after many of the restrictions are lifted, I'm likely to leave the flagstick in the hole.

We'll get information at least one month before the event. Last year, we got a June update regarding the TTI and the event was in October.

@Dale, it will be great to see the whole TT family again. Hopefully, more high 5's and handshakes will be a common occurrence.

Those that were able to get signed up should get an email about a month ahead of the event. You can also go the the "Events" link under the Team Titleist options and click on the "sold out" button which will take you to the general info and schedule as a reminder in case you were looking for something specific for now. See you there!

New bag, driver, fairway, apparel ordered from FJ, one more pair of FJ shoes on way. My daughter will be here for a week and will leave at 7am on Sunday, September 12th. She will be here for my 75th Birthday party on Friday, September 10th. Plan on leaving around noon and should be up at Pinehurst around 4pm. Easy drive up I-95 the turn left at South of the Border. Everyone has to have a plan and then I am the good hands of TT. Looking forward to this event. Have missed the last three, because of walking restrictions. Still cannot walk but can do cart path only at Pinehurst. With respect and look forward to seeing many old and new friends. Cheers, cz...

Looking forward to seeing everyone who signed up for the TTI this September. My friend and I are getting to the area a couple of days before the start of the TTI and we were wondering if there are any suggestions for golf outside of the Pinehurst Resort. We are staying at the Pine Needles resort and are looking at playing Pine Needles and Mid Pines. We have room for 2 more rounds and we're open to suggestions.

Being a member of the Carolinas Golf Association, guess I don't take advantage of all the great courses we have in N and S Carolina, as much as I use to. It is good to do it while you are young and are physically able. Walking is the best way to enjoy them, but as you age, you move up to the seniors and ride and still get a lot of enjoyment from the wonderful game. See ya'll soon. In the pines, in the pines, where the sun never shines. Will talk with my friend down here who is chief meteorologist at one of the local TV stations and see if he can keep the tropical storms away that week, after all we are in the middle of hurricane season.

Guy W, we pay the balance when we check out of the hotel on Wednesday.

Went to Dr yesterday for steriod injections in both hips, feel better today. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones on the 12th. Last time I was able to attend a TT invite was in Jacksonville. Am really excited about returning. =)

Really looking forward this, it's been a while since I've attending a TT event. More excited to catch up with old friends who I haven't seen in a while. Always good to see their handsome faces :) And definitely looking forward to meeting new members. I'll be easy to find, I'll be the one that said "huh"? "What?" a lot :) Yeah hard of hearing so forgive me if I don't respond. FYI my real name is Chris but Speedy is fine, I hear that better.

    Let's go!!!!!!

Wish I could join, but college is not cheap and I have 7 more years left. Have fun and make sure you seek Speedy out to say hello. You won’t be disappointed to meet such a Titleist loyalist and great person!

    Have fun

I suspect the Sunday activities will begin in the afternoon, probably close to check-in time at the Carolina Hotel. Also, past TTI's first day activities begin after 12PM.

With that said, I'm playing Pine Needles on Sunday and have a tee time around 8AM...maybe we'll be in the same group. I'll be the guy with the Titleist driver, fairway wood, hybrids, irons, Scotty Cameron putter, Titleist stand bag, Titleist hat, etc... ;-)

Travel safe and see you at Pinehurst!

You guys have fun Sunday AM. Will be driving up from Charleston after I put my daughter on an airplane back to Houston. Most likely be there around check in time. Have to stop off at my favorite pecan store in Florence, SC for some chocolate covered pecans. They have every combination of pecans imageable. Right off I-95, exit 164, Youngs Plantation. We always stock up for the holidays with the best Pecan pies when the have the Christmas shop here in Mt Pleasant Towne Center. Nothing like S Carolina grown pecans and great golf in N Carolina with good friends. Might pick up a pie or two on the way back. Life is good in the Carolinas. =)

Yep! Dark, milk and white.....a mixture of different coatings.....a pecan smorgasbord. They even have plain. You can even taste all of the offerings. Worth the trip. If you are a veteran, you get a discount. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by there.

I get it Chuck, I am the same way when traveling. I will be hunting down the closest Bojangles when I get off the airplane. I can't go to Bandon without getting something with cranberries and/or marionberries. Every spring we hit the Phoenix area for MLB Cactus League but I go because that's as far west as you can get Whataburger or Rudy's BBQ. :) See you in Pinehurst.

If you scroll up this thread, you will see a reply I posted showing the breakdown for the days; I don't have the actual times but you can deduce that on Sunday, activities will begin after 12PM. I suspect an early round at Tobacco Road should not conflict with the start of activities at Pinehurst on Sunday. If it was me I would try and complete a Sunday morning round before 2PM.

Personally, I'm playing Pine Needles on Sunday morning and then checkout of that resort to check-in to Pinehurst. See you there!

And a reminder to all on the forum, please be patient next week as the TT staff will be conducting this event and therefore will have limited time to process updates to the forum. Your comments may not get quickly posted but will still be in the queue so no need to repost the next day if you don't see it right away. Everything should be back to normal the following week.
