    Left dot, please!!!
  3. I've long used the Titleist Prov1, I tried the first iteration of the AVX and didn't like it, I found is had a high ball flight than the prov1 despite being marketed as lower flying. I've tried subsequent years of the AVX and had a different experience but I still prefer Pro V1. This may be Titleist blasphemy but during the 2021 season I was given a sleeve of TM TP5x and I really like those balls and continued to play with them the second half of the season.
  4. Love the pro V1
  5. I would love to be able to hit the Acushnet Club Special of my youth. As a kid, I was directed to the low compression ball. Now, as a senior citizen age 79, I hit Noodles after all the years of playing Titleists. I'll get back to Titleists in the Spring. Noodles for winter golf on the Cape.

Avx for me. I just love the ball flight.
  7. AVX for me. Was sent the new AVX and will be playing that later this summer.

I want to play the left dot. I got to be in the blind test for mygolfspy.com and that ball is amazing for my game. The ball was only available for less than 2 hours and fools on ebay were selling a dozen for $200 which is BS!

I will play yellow PRO V1's if the left dots are not available.

I play the Pro v1 during normal summer conditions and stared playing the tour speed in the cooler and cold conditions of fall, winter and spring….

Always seem to come back to Prove V1, but I have to say the last 5 years have been the most confusing with Titleists and changing the characteristics is the balls. ProV1X used to be the hard long ball, and now it is the spinning ball, while ProV1 was just the opposite. The Golf industry has become sick with the need to change and evolve and they are just making stuff up so there is a new version to sell every year. As a golfer I find this frustrating, especially with balls and they are such a personal choice and Titleist makes that a confusing process now as we never really know what we are getting in terms of performance.
  12. I like to play the PRO V1 in cooler weather as I like the soft feel of this ball, the PRO V1X is a bit longer in the summer and tends to fly longer and higher in our hot summer heat giving me a better landing decent with my irons to hold the greens.
  13. With the winter winds and colder temperatures, I like the AVX. It seems to cut thru the wind better and gives back some of the lost distance that comes with the colder months. We play year round and losing the distance messes with your mind.

Prov1x hasn’t faitme for lots of years now. No reason to change

It use to be a ProV1, but as I get further into my 70's (that's years, not scores), I have switched to a Yellow Tour Soft.

Prov1 has been the most consistent ball for me in distance and accuracy the year round for me. At the young age of 75, what more can I ask for? It seems to make golf more fun. Have played the black dot and definitely would like to get some of those.

Sticking with what's always worked since switching from the ProV1 to the ProV1x and hoping the get the handicap back to single figures after a mediocre run since Covid first hit.

Pro v1x for me as it has been for the last few years. Prior to that it was the Pro v1. Always a Titleist though.
