Don't worry, we are "golf enthusiasts", not "golf professionals". As long as no one leaves bleeding, no reason to be embarrassed. See you Sunday!

I can’t express how disappointing It was to cancel attending this morning. I was all prepped and ready to go, fully dressed with a new golf shirt on, fresh sleeves of ProV’s loaded and ready to roll out the door. First my daughter got sick, now my wife and newborn daughter are also sick with a stomach bug. So as I sit here waiting to also get sick I hope everyone has a fantastic day out there. At least I have golf on the TV to keep me entertained.

We had another great event this year. Seven foursomes. Thanks TT members for coming to play. Thanks also the Titleist staffers for giving up your off day to join us and for bringing some recent releases to hit on the range. See everyone next year!

That was the plan but we might pull it up to a February Sunday as the rescheduled Team Titleist Invitational has been moved to the week following March Daylight Savings. I don't want to burden anyone wanting to do both, including the Titleist staff.

Thanks to Don O for the Torrey Pines adventure on Friday. It was a blast.

Can we get a rewind to March 8th, 2020????
TT San Diego Maderas was the last normal day of golf I played this year.
I'm really hoping we get this pandemic under control so we can do it again in March!!!

    Stay Safe Y'all!!!!

If all goes as planned, we will have the March San Diego TT Golf Day the weekend following the Team Titleist International. Hopefully, with some safety restrictions, both events in October will be successful.

Just sitting here and wondering if you have any early possible sites for the 2021 TT San Diego Event.
I'm really hoping we get this pandemic under control!!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you this year.

    Cheers,

Thanks Mike. Allan's Titleist contacts are exploring some discounts at several courses as we narrow down some options. Looking at Saturday, March 20 if possible. That will give out-of-towner's a Sunday to travel home and minimize vacation time for those still working during the weekdays. Should know more as we get closer to the end of the year and like you said, hopefully the COVID situation is better by March and travel is a bit less restrictive. You might consider a return to Goat Hill for the warm-up event on Friday, March 19th. That seemed to appeal to some of the participants.

Would love to be part of this, have you been able to make plans for 21, or did COVID kill those?

Allan and I are talking about location and we are watching closely the California tiered restrictions and if it makes sense to proceed or delay. Hope to have a “go or no-go” decision by early February.

Dale, I don't believe it would be an issue.
There are many courses holding tournaments etc.
We were at a USKG event yesterday with well over 150 participants...caddies...and group followers...Zero Issues.
Hope you guys can figure it out...let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

    Cheers,

I know Mike but one of the things that makes our event unique is the participation of many of the Titleist employee locals. That kind of makes it a "pseudo official Titleist event" so we want their support and blessing. Much more likely now that Southern California is moving down a tier in the restrictions.

Wish I could be there over being here in Michigan. Been fortunate to play a few courses in the San Diego area. Looks fun, enjoy!

Hi Dale, looks like a great event, I hope to make it down next year once COVID is under control and the border opens up for vacation travel. Cheers from Canada!

    Dale:

Hope all is well. I would very much like to be a part of a possible 2021 Team Titleist San Diego event. In fact my son and I would be just getting back from a Father/Son RTJ Golf Trail trip for his spring break on the 19th. If I could bring him to this unique event, he would be over the moon. It would be both our first time at a TT event.

Hopeful the health numbers of COVID have subsided by then and the event is able to happen.

    Warm Regards,

We are in talks with a couple of venues as we speak. Might have to grab an alternate date from the March 20th plan as Saturday's are in such high demand that its tough to get a block on that day. Hope to have some info soon.

Looking forward to an eventual date. I can get a direct flight to LAX from my small airport, so I might be able to convince the COVID Czar(ina) to let me come. Even better if I can get a vaccine by then.

Can't wait to see the improvements at Goat Hill. The previous one looked like they actually used goats to maintain it. Of course that was always part of the charm.

    Thanks for the ongoing efforts.
